Probably the best Shadow Traxx tune. “Muzik Makerz” shows the Barcelona duo is in really good shape. It’s a dark, cavernous, deep techno affair, with a certain ebm flavour, nearly industrial but with a funky groove and a nod to super deep abyssal dub. To complete this Ep, it’s a brilliant Odd Oswald remix, who’s responsible, alongside Stephan Barnem, for the amazing “Follow You”, released on Kompakt last november on it’s Speicher 113. Odd Oswald stays in the dark zone, adding some electroid breaks and creating an exciting groove that turns “Muzik Makerz” into a club bomb that ensures a bloodbath on the dancefloor.
