The first album in the history of Tempesta Music is signed by one of the most reliable, solvent and brilliant names on the Tempesta roster, Check One. With different active projects such as Baelish, dedicated to create delicate electronic textures, Züel, his band, that fuses trip hop with real instruments, making something closer to indie or Jamaikids and his approach to Jamaican sounds, Carlos Guinart is an artist that does not stop. Check One began his activity closer to bass music with his “Scherbe Ep” on the Dub Bullet label, then came the “Bling Laden Ep” on Tracy Recordings, but after that he evolved towards a more 90's sound, closer to Belgian techno, in his “Madness Ep”, also on Tracy. Already in Tempesta he has been perfecting a personal fusion of dancefloor destroying techno and house on the Ep’s “Return” and “Force”.
Now he gives us his first album entitled “Euphoria”, an excellent work composed of eight tracks in which in addition to his own solid sound between house and techno, he broadens his stylistic palette and includes styles such as breakbeats, electro and even echoes of ebm or new beat.
And after the release of the full-length “Euophoria”, Tempesta will release an EP with four of his tracks remixed by artists such as Alex Martín, Shelby Gray, Onka Onichi and another member of the Mainline collective, John Heaven. Stay Tuned!.
